NOVA CREW

NOVA's crew is headed up by Captain, Scott Schroeder. Scott is a full time resident of the Virgin Islands since 2004. He has been chartering full time both here and the BVI since arrival. His experience ranges from small center consoles up to large motor and sailing yachts. He holds a USCG 100 ton license with sailing endorsements and prides himself on the safety and comfort of his guests. He has loved boating and learning the history of the islands with every trip he takes; his passion and enthusiasm for his home will definitely leave a lasting impression on those who spend the day alongside him.

First Mate, April Idlett left the states in 2016 to start upon her sailing and yachting adventure. She has sailed Madagascar, South Africa, Europe and the Caribbean before making St. Thomas her permanent home in 2019. April and Scott both pride themselves on service and catering to their guest's needs. They both delivered NOVA from Florida to St. Thomas in October of 2023 and can't wait to show off their love of their yacht and home to future guests and friends.
